ENGLISH IV: BRIT.LIT. 1st Week Tasks

Welcome, seniors!

After you receive your syllabus, please click here to find the Google Form. Fill out this form to the best of your ability. If you encounter anything you have a question about or you are unable to answer, please feel free to talk to me or to email me at my gmail address (which is in the Form).

If you have time, you can also vote on which Shakespeare play we will read this year! Since this is British Lit, any Shakespeare play is theoretically fair game; however, there are only a few of them for which we have access to enough books. Please go to this Google Form Survey and select a play. If you have already read one of the two plays listed, vote for the other one or for a 3rd option.

Please also take some time to explore this website before next week. You will find an About Me page, a detailed course outline on the British Lit page (and the Mythology page, if you’d like to look ahead), a calendar, information about writing assignments, etc. This site is a great resource for you to use throughout the year, especially in case of absence, missed notes, or lost materials.

AP LANGUAGE 1st Week Tasks

Hello! Welcome back to HHS!

You should have received a syllabus upon arriving to class–please make sure you get one if you didn’t. After we do some introductions, please click here to go to the Google Form. This form will ask you a few survey questions, then direct you to log in to the two websites we will use as resources this year: Schoology and MyAP.

I would also encourage you to explore this site in the next few days: Read the About Me page, visit the thematic units, writing, and vocabulary pages, and generally familiarize yourself with the materials available to you here.

If you have questions, please let me know–if you are completing these tasks outside of class time, feel free to send an email.
